Having a high school internship is one of the best ways to get into the college of your dreams as well as prepare you for your next great job. Internships can help provide valuable work experience and relevant professional skills under the guidance of seasoned professionals. At the end of your internship, you’ll have relevant experience to help you decide if your desired major or career field is the right choice for you.
WHO ARE WE?
24/7 Teach - 247 Learning Academy is an Education Management and Technology organization focused on making education relevant, equitable, and accessible to all through project-based learning.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
At 24/7 Teach - 247 Learning Academy, we designed our internship with you in mind. You will spend five hours per week working remotely to help develop some of 24/7 Teach - 247 Learning Academy internal and external projects and learn important professional skills like:
Critical Thinking and Analysis
Technology in Professional settings
Global Citizenry and Awareness
Time Management and Planning
WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE:

WHAT WE REQUIRE:
You are between the ages of 16 and 20 (Unless authorized by parents)
You can invest at least 5 hours a week into the internship for 12 or 24 weeks
You have access to a computer or smart device and the ability to work remotely
You have knowledge of MS Office or Google Docs
You have a proven interest in the field of the internship
You have a burning desire to succeed and be great in anything you do
You have access to the Internet
You have a firm grasp of the English Language
Your Minimum GPA is a 3.0 out 4 point scale or B average
Able to provide valid work documentation as required
You have a burning desire to go to college, start a business, or start a career
You are a self starter, self-motivated, and can work independently

We will coach you through the steps of developing and completing your own internship by answering questions like:
Why do you want to do an internship, and why in this particular field?
Do you want to work on a particular skill, if so, what is it?
What is it like to work in your desired field?
What responsibilities do you see yourself having and why?
What would a typical day be like in your internship?
What would you like to create by the end of your internship, and for whom?
Would you want to work within a team or by yourself?
