As a high school student, developing a resume is a great way to start preparing for the working world and college. Resumes can be used for job applications, to secure internships, and even to help complete college applications. Your high school resume will likely be focused on relevant coursework, extracurricular activities like volunteering or clubs, and any job experience you do have.

Why is this Important

It is highly important to have a well-prepared resume and cover letter. First impressions count, and the first impression that a potential employer or college admissions counselor will have of you can be the difference of getting the job you always wanted or being accepted to the college of your dreams.
